Wedding Coordinator, The Island Ranch
June 2013 - June 2016
The Island guest ranch was one of many jobs I had in my youth. Helping prepare, organize and execute a wedding was hard work, but the most rewarding job of all. A job I often refused to be paid for because without knowing this was a start to my creative lifestyle.
Ranch Hand, YOLO Ranch
July 2014 - May 2020
Working for another farmer one day, I was hauling hay at YOLO Ranch. Next, I was invited back to work mowing grass. That was only the beginning of the short six years I spent helping run and maintain all operations. Learning how to love, care, and raise cattle like no college can teach, as well as working with and changing cattle genetics for generations to come.
